~ Platte County Clothes Closet ~
In December 2007 Hope Fellowship took on the ministry of filling Christmas Boxes for the Platte County Clothes Closet. Through generous donations we were able to fill and deliver 84 Christmas Boxes. As of last contact with the Clothes Closet all 84 boxes had been given out.

Our History
NAB women throughout the years have served God as He called them; sacrificially giving so others could also serve. Did you know that the women of our churches were encouraged to begin mission societies as early as 1860? The women continued to accept projects and responsibilities in the early years of the twentieth century, including financial support in Cameroon; sending relief supplies to Europe during and immediately following WWI and WWII; providing hospital supplies for Cameroon. We continue to embrace the spirit of our founders with our mission statement, to encourage women to live Christ-centered lives, passionately serving other women. We accomplish this by uniting women in prayer, Bible study and fellowship, and by providing an outreach ministry at home and internationally. We are committed to the vision of women ministering to women, encouraging each other to embrace leadership gifts and leadership training. We have kept our Great Commission focus and are committed to passing this legacy on to the next generation.

Ministries
MANA(Meals As Needed Anytime) Through this ministry, women of the church provide meals for individuals or families at times of special need: sickness, injury, death of family member, etc.
White Cross is a ministry that serves Cameroon (Africa). Baby blankets, baby jackets are sewn and bandages are rolled. If you would like more information on the White Cross Ministry please visit the North American Baptist Conference website and click on the Compassionate Care and White Cross link.

These items are sent to NAB Headquarters where they are combined with other donations and shipped in a sea container to Africa.
The supplies are then distributed to NAB Hospitals in Cameroon and Nigeria.

!! Women's Retreat !! The First Baptist
Church of Lorraine, KS
is hosting
the 2008 Kansas Fellowship
Women's Retreat. April 11 - 12, Salina, Kansas. Registration fee is $35 per person, registration forms and fee need to be given to Georgia Gillham by Sun, March 9, 2008. Registration forms are available in the Church Lobby. Accommodations for the retreat will be at the Holiday Inn, Salina, Kansas.
