Seekers—those looking for help in finding answers about faith, the Bible, God, the meaning of life, life after death, and other big questions. Many have found this to be a place where they find answers and feel comfortable and welcome while they do that.  Those looking for a reconnection with church and religion—some people drift away from their spiritual roots for a time. If you are sensing a need to get reconnected, this is a good place to do that. Our members come from a variety of religious backgrounds: Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Disciples of Christ, Church of the Brethren...and on and on. There’s a place for you at HFC—a place to put down some roots.  Followers of Christ who are looking for a church home. You will find a place to grow in your faith, have the support and encouragement of other believers, and the opportunity to use the gifts and abilities that God has entrusted to you.  A number of people have described Hope Fellowship Chur ch this way- ”It was like coming home.” We believe it is a place wher e you can feel at home, too. You will find a strong emphasis on being family—genuinely caring about each other.

What will it feel like if I come?
Our Worship Style: Our number one goal in worship is to help people experience God’s presence and express their worship to Him. We have a praise band that leads us in singing contemporary praise songs, but we also include a hymn or two. The messages are Bible-based and apply to daily life.  Drama, video clips, etc. are occasionally included to help emphasize the theme for the day. The dress, for the most part, is fairly casual. We’re more concerned about what is on the inside, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Our Beliefs: In summary, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and our final authority on what to believe and how to live. It’s the basis for our preaching and teaching. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that through faith in Him, and Him alone, a person can receive forgiveness from sin and the gift of eternal life. Following Christ transforms our lives and should affect every part of life as we learn to love God and love other people as He loves them. (A complete statement of our beliefs can be found here.)

Our Congregation:  On an average Sunday, about 150 people will gather here for worship. 75% are under the age of 50. Those who make up our church family come from a broad range of backgrounds and religious traditions (for many, this is the first church in which they have had a serious involvement).
